Western Michigan University head football coach Tim Lester joined Newschannel 3 Sports Director Andy Pepper in the studio to talk Broncos football.

The Broncos got of the schneid on Saturday night after they beat Delaware State 68-0. Western's largest margin of victory in the modern football era.

Pepper asked how important was it for the Broncos, to not only get a win, but an emphatic win.

The Broncos shutting down the Hornets and forced three fumbles and allowed just eight yards passing and 127 yards of total offense.

The team also had a fantastic night for punt return with two punt returns for scores, and a third called back by penalty.

The Broncos are looking to even their record at 2-2 with a win in Atlanta, Georgia.

WMU facing Georgia State at 2 p.m. Saturday. The Georgia State Panthers won a bowl game last season and Lester described them as "equal talent-wise" to the Broncos.

Temperatures on Saturday expected to be around 90 degrees, and there is a big difference between a 90 degree Michigan day and a 90 degree Atlanta day, Lester talked a bit about battling the heat and humidity.
