WMU Associate Athletic Director Dennis Corbin died Wednesday

WMU Associate Athletic Director Dennis Corbin died Wednesday.

Western Michigan University mourning the loss of Senior Associate Athletic Director Dennis Corbin, 63, who suffered a massive stroke on Tuesday.

Corbin died on Wednesday at the age of 63.

The Michigan Athletic Trainers Society Hall of Famer was in his 36th year at Western. Corbin supervised the Broncos athletic training and strength and conditioning staff. He was also well known for mentoring countless athletes at Western.

It was easy to see the impact Corbin had on those athletes from the social media posts.

Broncos Head Football Coach Tim Lester tweeted, "25 years ago when I stepped on campus, this guy showed me what honesty and integrity looked like. We lost a great man today."

Broncos Wide Receiver Dee Eskridge tweeted, "You would always have side talks with me to make sure I was becoming the best version of a football player, but also a person as well. You impacted my life greatly and many others as well"
