Football Fever scored a touchdown on Friday with a front row seat to a record breaking performance.

Eric Wenzel, the Kalamazoo United quarterback, just passed his way to a record breaking night against Hopkins.

Wenzel, the senior star began the night with 48 touchdown passes, three passes shy of the state record set in 2015.

Wenzel tied the record with a second quarter touchdown pass to Andrew Widger, who caught the first three touchdowns of the game.

Wenzel then set the record with a short touchdown pass to Christian Bartholomew.
