Western Michigan University Broncos with a disappointing loss to the Central Michigan University Chippewas on Wednesday night.

The Broncos not only allowing 21 unanswered, 4th quarter points in last night's loss to their bitter longtime rivals. In the process, unofficially waving goodbye to any chance of repeating as MAC West champions.

Adding insult to injury, a picture making its way through social media of CMU Head Coach John Bonamego sleeping peacefully next to the Victory Cannon trophy.

Starting with the positive from last night's game, Jarvion Franklin scoring his school record 53rd career touchdown on the Broncos opening possession.

Jarvion later adding a 2nd score, on his way to a monster, 228-yard rushing performance.

Western up 28-14 early in the 4th, but the roof quickly caving in.

The Broncos with a pair of huge turnovers. Central also recovering their own kickoff and the Chips, who outgained Western by 239 yards in the 2nd half, roared back for a 35-28 win.
