South Haven softball wins first regional title in 36 years

South Haven softball won first Regional Title in 36 years.

The South Haven Rams lead by Wilma Wilson beat the Lakeshore Lancers Saturday to claim their first regional softball title since 1982.

Jordyn Holland with the big blow for the Rams. The freshman broke a 2-2 tie with a 2-run 8th inning jack against the host Lancers.

South Haven then held on for a 4-3 win over the top ranked division-2 team in the state.

The Rams will face Spring Lake in the state quarterfinals at Hope College Tuesday night.
