The Schoolcraft Eagles definitely remember the Titans.

The 8-1 Eagles face Lumen Christi in Saturday's D-7 Regional Finals at Portage Central.

Lumen Christi knocked Schoolcraft out of the playoffs last season, beating the Eagles 35-30 in the 2019 Regional Finals.

Eagles Head Coach Nathan Ferency said his boys are eager for another shot at one of the best programs in the state.

"As soon as we heard we beat Lawton in the District Finals, we heard that Lumen Christi was gonna be next and they were jumping for joy," Ferency said. "They are really excited for the opportunity. They (Lumen Christi) have been to the state finals four or five years in a row. This is not new to them; it's new to us. We need to get over the regional hump."

Senior lineman Connor Webb wasn't shy in his prediction for Saturday's rematch.

"We have been working hard out here, we are gonna get our revenge," Webb said. "We all know after we lost last year, we wanted another shot at them."

Fellow senior Harmon DeVries said he also wants payback, but the important thing is to reach the state championship game.

"We are just happy to be out here playing football, but it definitely gives us more motivation to get our revenge and make a legacy to go to Ford Field," DeVries said.

Schoolcraft has outscored it's opponents 391-112. The Eagles only loss was at the hands of Division-3 Chelsea. The undefeated Bulldogs beat the Eagles 41-21 in Week 3.
