Shawn Griffith has been a part of the Constantine football program for nearly three decades and achieved a big milestone after the Falcons 43-28 win over Kalamazoo United.

"I thank Coach Baker all the time for giving me the opportunity to come here and coach if it weren't for him I probable would've never landed at Constantine. He's been a great mentor, friend to not only me, my family and everybody involved in Constantine football," Griffith said.
Adding to the night, Griffith's family was in attendance and his son, Owen, a junior tight end and linebacker for the Falcons.

"Obviously, it meant quite a bit for a couple of reasons. We were playing a really good team in Kalamazoo United and then to be able to experience it with my son on the team and with a group of guys that he grown up playing with really meant quite a bit to me," Griffith said.
Griffith has a 73% winning percentage with a record of 130-48 as Constantine's head coach. Win number 130 also helped the Falcons clinch a share of the Southwestern Athletic Conference's Lakeshore Division.
