With just minutes left to play, Bronco quarterback Kaleb Eleby faked a spike.
It was the start of the dramatic ending that won the game for Western Michigan University's football Broncos, with a score of 41-38 over the Toledo Rockets. The win takes the Broncos to 2-0 in a pandemic-delayed season.
Trailing by 10 points as the clocked ticked down to three minutes, Western scored a touchdown, pulling the team with four points of the Rockets.

Western then recovered the onside kick, and drove downfield to the nine-yard line.
That's when Eleby faked the spike that would have stopped the clock. Instead, he threw the game-winning touchdown to Jaylen Hill with just 17 seconds to play.
Western Michigan plays Central Michigan next week in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan.
