Spartans look to avenge loss to Iowa

EAST LANSING, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The Michigan State Spartans basketball team, fresh off a 22-point drubbing of Penn State will back on the floor Thursday, against 16th ranked Iowa.

The Hawkeyes enter the Breslin Center as one of only two unbeaten teams in Big Ten play.

The Spartans come in looking to avenge their lone loss on the season--a 13-point setback to Iowa on December 29th.

It should be noted, however, that MSU played that game without senior Denzel Valentine.

The Spartans have not lost at home to Iowa since 1993.
