Bronco hoops look to get back in win column against Ball State


KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Coach Steve Hawkins and the WMU Broncos basketball team play six of their first eight MAC games in January in front of the home crowd at University Arena.

That includes Tuesday night's match-up with Ball State.

Western Michigan is looking to get back in the win column against the Cardinals, after opening up conference play with back-to-back losses to Kent State and Akron.

Thomas Wilder is doing his part in the early going this season, averaging 27 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 3 assists per game, in WMU's first two league games.

Ball State enters at 10-5 on the season (1-1 MAC). Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
