BAR HARBOR, Maine (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A bald eagle got a much-needed helping hand.
Two Maine lobstermen saw the bird swimming, and in distress, near Acadia National Park.
The eagle tried to get on top of a lobster buoy, but wasn't able to maintain balance.
The lobstermen then created a raft out of a life saver and plywood.
The eagle hopped on, and the men brought the injured bird onto their boat.
As the boaters headed toward the harbor, the eagle apparently regained its strength and flew away.
