KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A competition that began in Kalamazoo, then gained popularity nationwide will hold its second competition tomorrow.
Pallet-palooza features recycled pallets that have been transformed into projects, from wall art to furniture.
Last year, Goodwill in Kalamazoo came up with the idea, and others around the country picked it up.
This year, pallet creations were entered from all over the state and nation.
"This is the only time that you're going to see all of the pallet creations that were entered into the competition all in the same place. So you can see them up close and personal. A picture is great, but seeing them up close is awesome!" said Denise King, with Goodwill Industries.
The event starts at 2 o'clock Saturday at the WMU Rec Center.
Everyone can vote on their favorite, and a first and second place winner will be announced.
