Pfizer supplied dozens of military kids with an early Christmas present.

Employees in Portage built nearly 100 bikes specifically for military families and Pfizer said that company wide employees put together 1,000 bikes.

Ron Perry, Portage site leader, said, “Most importantly we're all giving to our veterans who are celebrating Veterans Day. That's why we do it now.”

Children got to pick them up on Thursday.

Perry said, “It's such an easy way to get people engaged and make a difference and watch the eyes light up of a young child.”

Pfizer still has a few children's bikes that haven't yet found a home. If you're an active or retired service member and interested in requesting a bike the company wants to know.
