WATERVLIET, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A popular local water park has cleared an inspection after a young child developed a severe rash.
The Berrien County Health Department says they tested the pool at Surfari Joe's, in Watervliet, earlier this month.
Their results show there's nothing wrong.
Health inspectors say chemical levels at the park are all within state regulations.
We first told you about this investigation last month, when a West Michigan mom said her son suffered a bacterial infection after swimming at the pool.
The health department says they will continue to follow up if they get any more complaints.
