Kalamazoo police release surveillance photos of possible Fish Express shooting suspect

Kalamazoo police released photos taken from Eastside neighborhood surveillance cameras after a Kalamazoo man was killed in a restaurant parking lot.

Victor Davis, 52, of Kalamazoo, was shot in the parking lot of the Fish Express, 620 Riverview Dr., about 8:45 p.m. Jan. 8, 2020. He died after being taken to the hospital.

Police were able to find several homes with surveillance cameras that had images of a possible suspect running though the Eastside neighborhood just after the shooting.

A K-9 unit was brought in by police to track the suspect, but they were not able to find anyone.

A makeshift memorial with balloons was set up in the Fish Express parking lot on Jan. 9.
