Field of Faith usually takes place on the gridiron, but Wednesday it had to be moved inside of Lakeview Middle School because of the rain.
The annual nationwide Field of Faith started in Oklahoma allowing students to gather on a football field to talk about their faith and what it means to them.
Mike McGeath, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, said, “What we would like to have them take away with them is the Bible. God's word, to us, is real and it could have a real impact on your daily life. And it's not just a bunch of rules but it's the way God has a relationship with us.”
Former Western Michigan University Bronco Quarterback Zach Terrell was the keynote speaker at the event on Wednesday.
This is the fifth year the event has been held in Battle Creek.
