Workers at Seelye Ford in Kalamazoo found three baby red squirrels inside the intake system of a new vehicle.
The workers got them out of the cold and offered them Pedialyte to keep them hydrated until a wildlife rehabilitator could pick them up.
Elizabeth Osborne, a wildlife rehabilitator, said, "It was important for them to find them when they did because they needed heat. They were ice cold when they found them so they were able to put heat on them."
Sadly, one of the baby squirrels did not make it, but it's two siblings are doing well.
Osborne says they will be introduced into the wild once they recover and adapt to the Michigan weather.
