Ascension Borgess Hospital would be hosting a job fair and is expected to hire more than two dozen new nurses.

The job fair would be held on Monday, March 18, for full-time, part-time and PRN positions in a number of departments and specialties.

"Our leaders from all the departments will be there. So, they can sit down and chat with them, get a feel for what the units are like. They'll be able to go from table to table. Some nurses really aren't sure what they want to be when they 'grow up' right? So, they'll be able to try different areas and talk to different folks to see what really peaks their interest," Interim Vice President of Borgess Nursing Barb Mulder said.

Ascension Borgess asked those interested to bring a resume and be ready for an on-site interview. They said applicants would also have the chance to meet with department leaders.

The job fair runs from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday at the hospital on Gull Road in the Lawrence Education Center.
