Before a backdrop of a freight train passing through the area, construction teams are repairing a water main line near the intersection of South Pitcher and Walnut streets in Kalamazoo. The winter has kept repair crews busy in the city, as unusually cold temperatures contributed to a series of broken water lines. The trains pass this intersection regularly, temporarily slowing the work as the contruction team yields to the locomotive.
