A crowd gathered Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2020 in front of the Michigan capitol in Lansing.
The group carried signs protesting the results of the 2020 presidential election. The Michigan House was in session the same day after a decision from Speaker Lee Chatfield.
The protest was one of several that had taken place in the wake of the 2020 election.

Some protesters carried signs demanding a forensic audit of ballots. President Donald Trump had supported the idea that there had been widespread voter fraud during the election.
A number of government officials, including Attorney General and Trump ally William Barr, said there was no evidence of widespread fraud during the 2020 election.
