The five final episodes with Alex Trebek as the host of "Jeopardy!" will begin to air at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 4, 2021.
Monday's episode would begin with Trebek's "powerful message about the season of giving," the Associated Press reported. Friday's episode would conclude with a tribute to the longtime host.
Trebek hosted the quiz show for more than 30 years. He died from his fight with pancreatic cancer Nov. 8, 2020.
It was unexpected that the episodes taped in late October would be his final ones, producer Sony Pictures Television said in a release. Trebek had been fighting the disease for nearly two years.
